Hi guys,

I cannot find any driver for Ubuntu device 'Shenzhen Goodix Technology Goodix FingerPrint Device'. I'm on Ubuntu 20.04 and I created a probe and it seems there are no drivers to download. Any alternative so I could start my fingerprint reader?

It's not supported currently. See list of supported devices.

Drivers for Goodix devices are actively developed by libfprint team, keep for updates in NEWS.

Your laptop is too new and the fingerprint reader is first appeared in the Linux database in 2021, so you have every chance to get support for your device this year.

But keep in mind that some devices never received support in Linux, e.g. BCM5880 in Dell E6530.
