RTL8852BE supposed to work on kernel 6.2+

Hi all,
According to the hardware probe, https://linux-hardware.org/?probe=ed544a4405 and https://cateee.net/lkddb/, the network device RTL8852BE is supposed to work on Linux kernels 6.2+.
I already have Kernel   6.2.12-060212-generic and it doesn't work.
I am currently upgrading the kernel to 6.5 to see if it will work out of the box.
Previously, I had to use an external repository on github to get this to work with previous kernels.
I am hoping that the newer kernels will work ok.
But, at the moment, it looks like the 6.2+ kernel statement is wrong, unless I have a faulty device but it used to work fine with the external driver.
