Can't decide between a Lenovo yoga pro 7 14" currently for 750 EUR (800 USD) or a framework 13 amd 7640u

Let's take framework 13 diy base which is 1080 eur + 110 eur for ddr5 5600mhz 32gb + 70 eur for 1tb nvme m2. Final price 1260 eur more or less (1360 USD)

We can also do a similar configuration to yoga pro 7 so 1080 eur for base + 16gb ram for 90 eur + 512gb nvme for 50 eur. final price would be 1220 eur (1315 USD)

We can all agree that at this point, is better to have the configuration with 32gb and 1 tb.

Here a link of the yoga pro 7 14"(amd 7735hs)

My main concern is that framework price is expensive (almost 500 eur more or 540 usd ) than yoga pro 7 that has a nice display with 90hz, 16gb ram (even if it is soldered) and 512gb ssd. However even if I won't upgrade it anytime soon, I am willing to pay more for framework.

What do you think?

Hi Guys

I was looking for any advice anyone might have on buying a gaming laptop nowadays? Mostly using it to play D3, Daoc, Guild Wars 2, Rift and maybe future games like Unchain.

Wants:

1,600.00 USD or less would really want to be around 1200-1400 but willing to go up to 1600

gaming video card 760,880,970,980 etc type
120g SSD  HDD storage drive
8 Gigs ram
i7 cpu
17" screen.

Should I just build a pc on Ibuypower, CyberPC, XoticPC, etc?
Thanks

Theres probably a sizable market for a no-frills Windows. And while it should actually cost less, Im sure they could charge a bit more and people would pay it.
