ubuntu freezing and distorting the screen

I installed ubuto on my computer and unfortunately it's giving me a problem that bothers me a lot, when I turn on my computer it suddenly freezes the system and the screen is failed, I can't use anything from it having to reset to get it back on, this happens a couple of times times on average when I turn it on, I believe it's a problem with some drive incompatibility.  I need help whoever has a similar problem and can help me thank you
