I have tried anything I could, tried several distro on usblive, but never had the webcam work.

They say they can ship this pc with linux installed here: https://www.linuxnow.com.au/nshp6G9N9PA.html

I don't even know which cam is in this laptop.

Any help welcome, I don't want to install windows!!!!
